American Well rebranded to Amwell on March 9, 2020 to reflect the growth of telehealth from a virtual urgent care service to digital care delivery.

Year: 2022, 2023 and 2024

Project Overview: American Well rebranded to Amwell on March 9, 2020 with a new name and a new logo but the company never updated their look and feel. So, the goal of this project was to work directly with the Marketing Director, Brand manager, content team, strategists and designers to come up with a brand new look and feel for the company.

 Challenge: The new look and feel of the company needed to be clean, simple and flexible so the designs could be accommodated to different types of marketing and sales assets.The company also works directly with payers, providers and innovators, enabling an ecosystem of care that spans across in-person, virtual and automated care so the new brand needed to directly reflect that the moment a person would see an assets online or in person.

 Approach:  Clean the logo and make it look more modern. Update all assets focusing in the new brand book and guidelines. Implement all these changes across all internal and external sites.
