In this project for Apprio, a leading technology provider for government solutions, we were tasked with animating their logo to add a touch of modernity and dynamism to their digital presence. The goal was to create a seamless, professional animation that preserved the integrity of their brand while enhancing its impact across various digital formats. Additionally, we designed a LinkedIn ad that integrated the animated logo to boost engagement and communicate Apprio’s industry expertise. Brand Understanding:
Apprio’s brand reflects professionalism, trust, and innovation. The color palette—comprising deep magenta, and gray—conveys reliability and intelligence. The challenge was to animate the logo in a way that feels contemporary yet retains its clean, professional aesthetic.
Logo Animation Concept:
The goal was to animate the logo in a way that added a layer of motion while keeping it easily recognizable. We explored subtle animation effects such as soft reveals and fluid transitions that would make the logo feel more dynamic without disrupting its integrity.
LinkedIn Ad Concept:
The LinkedIn ad needed to emphasize Apprio's leadership in IT solutions for government agencies. The animated logo would serve as a focal point, but the ad also had to include concise messaging to capture the attention of decision-makers in the public sector.
Design & Development Process
Step 1: Logo Animation
Research & Inspiration:
We analyzed animated logos within the tech and government sectors to ensure the design was both modern and aligned with Apprio’s branding. The animation needed to be clean and subtle to align with the brand’s established visual identity.Design Execution:
Using Adobe After Effects, we created a simple yet elegant animation. The logo’s elements subtly came together with smooth motion, giving it a sense of flow and life without detracting from its simplicity. The animation was designed to loop seamlessly, allowing it to be used across various formats like email signatures, web banners, and presentations.
Step 2: LinkedIn Ad Creation
Storyboarding:
We developed a storyboard to plan the structure of the ad. The animated logo was positioned as the focal point, followed by an introduction to Apprio’s key services, with a concise call to action at the end.Design Execution:
The LinkedIn ad incorporated the animated logo at the start, creating an immediate visual hook. The animation was complemented by a clean, professional layout that communicated Apprio’s core values and services, while the call to action directed viewers to learn more about their offerings.
